"With all the service members returning from duty, this site is another way to get important information out at an opportune time on how to respond to USERRA issues", NVTI Director Vaune Shelbourn states.

This course includes five different scenarios of re-employment issues for the returning, or newly deployed service member. The learner interacts with how to can assist the person with their unique situation. Upon completion of all five modules, the learner will receive certification for completing USERRA 101, which is now a requirement in some states.

"We think the people who undertake this course will not only learn the basic tenets of USERRA, but will actually enjoy going through this training", said Cheryl Swears of NVTI's Instructional Design group. "It's fun, interesting and informative."

To sign up for the course, proceed to USERRA 101 at http://www.nvti.ucdenver.edu/userra101. You will need to provide your business information to register for and access the course materials.

There is no charge for USERRA 101.

Once you've completed the course, don't forget to complete the course evaluation on the site to help NVTI continue to provide the best training for your needs.
