The Nebraska Army National Guard's 267th Maintenance Company drill weekend was visited by numerous employers of unit soldiers during their annual Employer Appreciation Day. Employers and ESGR volunteers were given a unit briefing, including their unit history and deployments; a tour of the Combined Support Maintenance Shop, including a Mobile Kitchen Trailer set up, shop operations, electronics, and armament sections.
Following the tour, the employers enjoyed a unit-prepared lunch with their soldiers. At the end of the day, employers signed an ESGR Statement of Support publicly acknowledging their support of their soldiers. Captain Scott Hendrickson, unit Commander, thanked everyone for attending and presented each employer with a unit Certificate of Appreciation. He noted this was the second annual Employer Day and commented that next year's event would be even better. Representing the Nebraska ESGR Committee were Mr. Carl Novak, Vice Chair; Mr. Keith Brown, Employer Outreach Director; and Mr. Randy Frazier, ESGR volunteer.
