33 Nebraskans visited Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, to visit the Reserve Component units stationed there.  While at Selfridge, they visited the 107th Fighter Wing, and experienced the thrill of flying the A-10 simulator.

Subsequent tours of the Coast Guard Station, Detroit, the Army Guard's CH-47 operations, and an exciting visit with the
US Marine Corps Reservists, as well as a tour of the Selfridge ANG Base Fire Station highlighted the three day trip.  All employers mentioned numerous times how proud they were of the young men and women in today's forces and the professionalism they displayed.  On the return trip to Nebraska, the attendees also were treated to view an aerial refueling of an RC-135 from Offutt AFB, NE.  Nebraska ESGR is fortunate to have the total support of the 155th Air Refueling Wing for air assets for these bosslifts.  Also attending the bosslift was BG Scott Gronewold, Director of the Joint Staff, Nebraska Army National Guard.

Major General (Retired) Walt Zink, Nebraska Chair, commented to the group that they had the rare opportunity to visit with the majority of the reserve components and to see how dedicated our service members are in the performance of their assigned missions.
