August 5th, 2011 Nebraska Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee members Steve Hokamp and Steve Tellatin presented a Patriot award to John Borchers of DeBruce Grain.

Bourchers was nominated for the award by an employee, Ariel R. Keating a merchandiser for De Bruce Grain.  Keating is a First Lieutenant with the 114th Fighter Wing of the South Dakota Air National Guard (ANG) in Sioux Falls, SD.  Keating serves as a maintenance officer with the ANG and nominated her boss for this award for the support given to her during her period of active duty for the ANG in South Dakota during flood duty last month.  Keating also recognized co-workers who pitched in for her during her mobilization.
