Dr. Eric Pierson, Neurological and Spinal Surgery, was recently surprised with a presentation of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriotic Employer Award.  

Pierson was nominated for the award by Major Darrin Mongeon, who is deploying to Afghanistan in the next week.  Mongeon stated he nominated Doctor Pierson because he's been a "super boss and supporter and I have nothing but great assistance from him and the staff...."  Presenting the award was Bill Nelson, Program Support Specialist, Nebraska ESGR committee.
