Janicki Industries was presented a certificate of recognition on September 2nd, 2010 for being nominated for the 2010 Secretary of Defense Freedom Award.  John Van Dalen, from the Washington Office of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR),   presented the certificate of recognition to John Janicki, President and co-founder of Janicki Industries.

Janicki Industries was the 2010 nominee from Washington State in the small employer (under 500 employees) category for the Secretary of Defense Freedom Award.  They were selected as the top small employer in the state because of their outstanding support of their employees and support to other deployed members of the Guard and Reserve.  Janicki sends care packages, raises money for military and veterans causes, and provides assistance to spouse and families of deployed employees.  In addition they publicly recognize and support the men and women in the Guard and Reserve who work for them.  They proudly display their Signed Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve ion their corporate headquarters.
