Savannah, Ga. – Georgia Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) hosted an Employer Appreciation Luncheon at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, Two West Bay Street, Savannah, GA 31401.

Approximately 20 companies were represented at the event.  Each company signed a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve and received a framed certificate to display in their place of business. 

Several employers were recognized with a Patriot Award for the support they show to the service members in their employ.   Employers qualify for recognition when they practice leadership and personnel policies that support employee participation in the Guard and Reserve.
