OMAHA — Stacy Scholtz, Mutual of Omaha executive vice president for corporate services, signed an ESGR Statement of Support on June 1 in Omaha.
The Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve document states Mutual of Omaha’s appreciation and support for company employees who also serve the country as members of the National Guard or Reserve.
“This is an important event for Mutual of Omaha as we appreciate and respect our Guard and Reserve members,” said Scholtz.
Brigadier Gen. and Nebraska National Guard Assistant Adjutant General Daryl Bohac attended the ceremony as did Nebraska ESGR Chairman Walt Zink along with members Roger Lempke, Jim Murphy and John Bryan. Also representing Mutual of Omaha were Vice President for Human Resources Liz Mazzota and Corporate Benefits Director Bob Foley.
Standing are: Lempke, Mazzota, Bohac, Foley and Murphy.
The company currently employs 5,080 people. In 2009 Mutual of Omaha maintained a national network of 108 offices with a national sales force of more than 2,300 representatives.
