Alexandria, VA – Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, announced today that Mr. Don Dootson, Regional Director of Microsoft Federal Region, was honored with the Seven Seals Award in recognition of his support of the State of Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve mission.

According to Tom Bullock, Chef of Employer Outreach at ESGR, “The Seven Seals Award is the only ESGR award that bridges both the employer and ESGR volunteer recognition awards program. It was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide significant achievement, initiative or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission.”   Don Dootson was honored for his continued exemplarily support of the State of Washington’s ESGR Field Office staff, added Bullock.

As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform an increasing number of unique missions with America’s borders and beyond, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of citizen warriors.
