Arkansas Hospice Honored by Department of Defense for Extraordinary Support of Employees who Serve in the Arkansas National Guard and Reserve

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, announced today that Judy Wooten, Chief Operating Officer and Dan Marchetti, Chief, Education and Quality of Arkansas Hospice were honored with Patriot Awards in recognition of extraordinary support of their employee who serves in the Air National Guard.

According to Richard Green, ESGR Arkansas Program Specialist, “The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve.  Judy Wooten and Dan Marchetti were nominated were nominated for being highly supportive of the National Guard by their Reserve Component employee, Jennifer Scheible. Jennifer is a Captain in the 184th Medical Group, Kansas Air National Guard. The Medical Units of our Air National Guard are some of the most active and demanding units in the Air Guard. Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s National Guard and Reserve units." Captain Scheible stated, "Ms. Wooten and Mr. Marchetti are highly supportive, very interested, and proud of my Air National Guard Career. They have been very accommodating with my schedule and the requirements at Hospice in support of my Air National Guard requirements."
