 Des Moines, IA - Representatives Sharon Steckman, Royd Chambers, Elesha Gayman, Jodi Tyemson, and Ray Zirchelbach read the House Resolution 115 to the Iowa House of Representatives on March 3, 2010. Representative Steckman authored the resolution and made note of the 15 ESGR volunteers in attendance to the other state Representatives. 

The resolution acknowledged Iowa ESGR and the important work they do to promote employer support of Guard and Reserve Service Members and educating everyone on the requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).

Following the session, lunch was scheduled from 11-1 for Representatives and Senators to come in, meet volunteers and learn more about ESGR programs. Volunteers were influential in speaking to all the representatives and Senators who stopped by. A folder with ESGR information was handed out to all who were able attend or a packet was sent with their staff. Over 45 Representatives were in attendance and over 28 Senators according to our records.
