Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, announced today that that Taylor Latimar, Manager of the Taylor Latimar Agency, Farmer’s Insurance Group was honored with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of the employees who serve in the Arkansas National Guard and Reserve.

Taylor Latimar was nominated for being highly supportive of the Air National Guard by Staff Sergeant Arianne Pierpoint, a member of the 188th Fighter Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard.  Sergeant Pierpoint is the Office Manager with the Taylor Latimar Agency. Sergeant Pierpoint stated in the nomination, “After only working for Mr Latimar for a couple weeks, he was more than happy to let me take two days off to  make up my drill. He has expressed how thankful he is for my service to the country and has no problems with me performing any military duty that I may need to do in the future”.

The award was presented to Mr. Latimar at the Insurance Agency office in Little Rock on January 11, 2012.  The Taylor Latimar Farmer’s Insurance Agency was also presented an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Statement of Support signed by the Secretary of Defense, the Honorable Leon Panetta.
