EAW held at the NG Training Site in Smyrna, TN on 14-16 December was a very successful event.  There were a total of 23 soldiers participating in the workshop and when they were finished on noon Thursday, the went into the next room where 46 employers (who were hiring) awaited them.  An estimated 250 Guardsmen, Reservists, and veterans came to the job fair and in speaking with the vendors, a large number indicated that some of these soldiers were hired on the spot!  MG Max Haston, the TN TAG, was present and personally welcomed the vendors individually.  We feel that our efforts with our EAWs are picking up steam and the word it getting out that these classes are producing positive results.  We are staying on our efforts to capture good data.
