NAVFAC, Pearl Harbor, HI-30 November 2011 Navy Facilities Engineering Commander, Pacific, was the setting for a Patriot Award presentation to Mr. Don Rochon.  Mr. Rochon was nominated for the award by Christine Rosalin, a 1Lt with the 117 Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (MPAD), HIARNG.  Christine wrote in her nomination , "My supervisor, Don Rochon, is a strong supporter of my service to the Hawaii Army National Guard.  He was also a prior service active duty and Army Reservist.  Mr Rochon has fully supported me and my mission requirements by working around my Guard schedule even when on short notice. When I returned to work he tried to find ways to keep me employed when he was informed that a potential reduction in force could have taken place.  He also help me receive my benefits while I was serving on military orders".
Capt Melina Juan, Commander of the 117 MPAD, HIANRG, was also present for the presentation.
