Jim Oliver, Founder (President) of AvL Technologies received a Patriot Award for his support of of SPC Mark D. Chambers’ service in the United States Army Reserve and during a recent deployment to Iraq with the 392nd Enhanced Signal Battalion (ESB), Baltimore, Maryland.  SPC Chambers was deployed twice within the last two years with his first deployment being in Iraq and his most recent return was from Afghanistan.  AvL Technologies has several Reservists and Guardsmen employees that provide solutions and support for satellite ground terminals for commercial, professional and military customers throughout the world.

The founder, Jim Oliver has also pledged his support to the National Guard and Reserve Members by signing a “Statement of Support” that confirms that AvL Technologies joins other employers in pledging that:
 •        We fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA).
•        Our managers and supervisors will have the tools they need to effectively manage those employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
•        We will continually recognize and support our country’s service members and their families in peace, in crisis and in war.
