BOSTON, MA. January 21, 2010. Today, MA ESGR members John Pelose, Roger Fortin and David St. Germain ventured out to historic Beacon Hill. In one of the oldest and most recognized historic State House buildings in the United States of America, the General Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts penned an ESGR Statement of Support and received the coveted Patriot Award. State Treasurer, Timothy P. Cahill was nominated for the Award by Sergeant First Class (SFC) Brian Turnbull, a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. SFC Turnbull is also an employee in the Treasurer's Office. In his nomination statement, Sergeant Turnbull stated; "Over the last seven years and currently while I am serving on active duty, Treasurer Cahill has been very supportive of me and of my Army Reserve career!
