California Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) was proud to be an active sponsor at this year’s PIHRA Legal Update January 12-14 at each of the three 1-day seminars.  During each of the three days, with the support of our partners at the Department of Labor and the US Armed Forces Employer Partnership Initiative Program, ESGR interfaced with approximately 50 Employers directly and was able to provide an overview of the various support our agencies provide, to over 1000 members in attendance.

This link between members of the Guard and Reserve and their civilian employers led to the creation of ESGR. ESGR is a Department of Defense agency that seeks to develop and promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service.
