The unit deployed to the 380th Air Expedtionary Wing, United Arab Emirates, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa from September 2008 to February 2009. Its responsibilities including managing the base dining halls, which jointly served 6,000 meals a day, running the Community Activity Center and operating the Fitness Center, which staged marathons, triathalons, football leagues, volleyball and basketball tournaments.
