Smyrna, DE - Paulette Mason, State Chair of the Delaware Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, expressed gratitude for their support to over 150 members, fire chiefs and officers present at the monthly meeting of the New Castle County Volunteer Firefighter's Association (NCCVFA) monthly meeting. At the meeting, twenty-one (21) Officers from each fire company present demonstrated their support for their citizen warriors by signing a "Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve." The signing ceremony included guest speakers, BG Terry Wiley of the Delaware National Guard and Ms. Lynn Truitt, President of NCCVFA. Together, fire companies throughout New Castle County employ fifty-six (56) Guard and Reserve members.
