Long Beach, CA - On the afternoon of February 13, 2010, California ESGR Chairman Andrew Wiktorowicz presented a “Seven Seals” award to Maria-Isabel Soto, Council President, Long Beach Navy League. Ms. Soto is a very strong supporter of the Guard and Reserves and is involved with many organizations in the Long Beach area that supports the United States Military. CAPT Michael Argo, Commanding Officer, Navy Operational Support Center Los Angeles, was also on hand for the presentation and the photo capturing the event.
Earlier that same day, Mr. Wiktorowicz had the opportunity to speak aboard the S.S Lane Victory to over 30 veterans about ESGR and how important the organization is to our Guard and Reserve Warriors. The briefing also included a question and answer segment that brought up many good discussion points among the group of veterans. Before the official meeting a tour of the ship and the museum took place.
As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform an increasing number of unique missions with America's borders and beyond, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of citizen warriors. ESGR recognizes outstanding support, increases awareness of the law, and resolves conflict through mediation.
