Patriot Award Presented to Manatt, Phillips, and Phelps on Behalf of Service Member Currently Overseas

Los Angeles, CA - California Chairman Andrew Wiktorowicz presented five  Patriot Awards and a “Seven Seals” Award to Manatt, Phelps and Phillips LLP on February 24, 2010.  The nominator, Col Umberg, is an attorney with Manatt, Phelps and Phillips and is honored to be able to recognize the leadership of the organization with Patriot Awards.  Col Umberg, is currently deployed in Afghanistan and is scheduled to return to California in June 2010. 

BG Robin Umberg was on hand to share her husband’s appreciation to such a supportive group of partners and fellow employees.  About 25 attorneys and staff showed up at the LA office and another 15 were linked by video feed from the Orange County Office to participate in the event.  Mr. Wiktorowicz noted “support for the Guard and Reserve Warriors is a very important part of the Manatt, Phillips and Phelps Law Firm”.

As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform an increasing number of unique missions with America's borders and beyond, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of citizen warriors.
