Washington, DC - Mr. James G. Rebholz, National Chairman of the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense agency, appointed the following as new State and U.S. Territory Chairs of the Committees for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.  The oath of office was administered by the Honorable Dennis M McCarthy, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs.

“These new leaders have pledged to enhance and expand the great traditions of their Committees who unselfishly give their time helping employers and members of the National Guard and Reserve understand their rights and obligations under federal and state laws," said Mr. Rebholz.  “We are pleased and fortunate that leaders of this caliber have stepped forward to face the challenges of the changing dynamics facing employers and servicemembers today.”

ESGR is proud to note that many employers go above and beyond the law in support of their employees who are National Guard or Reserve members by supporting them with pay differential, extension of employee benefits coverage, and many other initiatives during mobilizations.
