Tan Holdings President Jerry Tan, together with 16 other supervisors and managers from Tan Holdings, backed the men and women in the Guard and Reserve on August 15 by signing a statement of support for their re-employment.

According to Tan, this pledge of support that he and the other Tan Holdings executives expressed during the brief signing ceremony is due to their belief that the men and women in the Guard and Reserve have made major contributions in the country. Tan was quoted by saying, “No Reservist or Guard member will have a
problem with Tan Holdings when they return”.  As of date, a total of 81 employers and supervisors have signed
the statements of support for the US National Guard and Reserve in Fiscal Year 2009.

The support from Tan Holdings on this issue carries much weight because Tan Holdings is one of the largest private employers in the CNMI.
