New ESGR Ombudsmen being trained and educated on USERRA, mediation, conflict resolution and case management procedures. This training was held August 14-16, 2009, in Denver, Colorado. Fifty students and a complement of seven national staff personnel facilitated this training for ESGR's future Ombudsmen and USERRA experts. Students learn basic knowledge, techniques and procedures involving USERRA and it's applicability to Reserves and National Guardsman civilian employment affected by military service. Ombudsman are neutrals in the process of conducting mediation, conflict resolution and relationship building.
