These awards were presented in recognition of extraordinary support from employers who went above and beyond from their employees who currently serve in the Florida National Guard and Reserve.

PAGE, Neb. — Mike Mahood, manager of Agricultural Services Inc., of Page, Nebr., has received an ESGR Above and Beyond Award for going the extra distance on the civilian side to support the military service of National Guard and Reserve soldiers.

Sierra Vista, Arizona.  Bruce Hamilton, ESGR, presents Edeka Ricard, manager with AutoZone, with the ESGR Patriot Award.  The nominator was SGT Nathaniel Marcus, Det 1, 2220th Transportation Company, ARNG, Tucson, AZ.  Edeka comes from a military family, is married to a reservist and employs both reservists and retirees.  "She is always willing to put in the extra effort for those of us that serve" says SGT Marcus.  "She is a true Patriot".

VALENTINE — Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge and the US Fish and Wildlife Service has been honored for patriotism and understanding by one of their own.

Omaha — Matt Neel and Abby Hansen, supervisors of Aureus Medical in Omaha, received ESGR Patriot Awards earlier this month. Both were cited by contract employee Brian Tyler for their willingness to schedule around his military duties related to his civilian work in medical facilities across the country.

Fort Story Joint Expeditionary Base, Norfolk, Va. – Vice Admiral Dirk J. Debbink, Chief Navy Reserve and Commander, Navy Reserve Force joined hands today with the Virginia Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, to recognize and honor five Virginia employers with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employee(s) who serve in the Navy Reserve.  Receiving the Patriot Awards were Ms. Neva Lynde, Booz Allen Hamilton of Norfolk; Ms. Victoria Whalen, Oceaneering International, Inc. Ohlmeyer, however, left one thing behind with his civilian employer and fellow staff at Behavior Health Specialists in Norfolk … a Nebraska Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award.

ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn. – Even though Arnold Air Force Base does not have many uniformed military on base it still receives support for employing a military mission.
